Australian entrepreneur Dick Smith apparently had his controversial Australia Day commercial banned from airing on television presumably due to the use of the word Dick. The commercial features Dick Smith in offensive scenes with asylum seekers and people saying things like, “there’s only one Dick I’ll be eating on Australia Day” or “chow down on my OzeNuts”, in reference to peanut butter. What do you think? Should this be banned from television? Then again, sometimes getting your commercial banned is better than airing it on TV. So, let’s get Dick to go viral!
